The usual route is the M-12 Vostok toll motorway: about 420 km, 5–6 h depending on traffic and stops. On the way you can stop at Vladimir.
We also drive from Nizhny Novgorod straight to Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo or Vnukovo; from this direction the closest is usually Sheremetyevo or Domodedovo via the Central Ring Road. The pick-up is timed to your flight with a comfortable margin.
In Nizhny Novgorod: the Kremlin above the Volga, the Chkalov Staircase and the cable car across the river. The chauffeur can wait, stay overnight with you or return to Moscow — whatever your plan needs. Other routes: intercity transfers.
