The usual route is the M-8 Kholmogory highway (via Yaroslavl): about 340 km, 4½–5 h depending on traffic and stops. On the way you can stop at Rostov Veliky and Yaroslavl.
We also drive from Kostroma straight to Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo or Vnukovo; from this direction the closest is usually Sheremetyevo. The pick-up is timed to your flight with a comfortable margin.
In Kostroma: the Ipatiev Monastery and the Snow Maiden's house. The chauffeur can wait, stay overnight with you or return to Moscow — whatever your plan needs. Other routes: intercity transfers.
